What makes an outdoor build last in south-east Queensland?
Most of the difference is in the parts nobody sees. Fixings, ground contact and drainage do more for a deck's lifespan than the boards on top of it, and the local conditions are unforgiving about all three: high humidity most of the year, intense storm rain in summer, and salt air anywhere near the coastal strip.
